Hey guys, been a while since I've asked for help. The Prelude is still in the garage, although not on the road. It's 80 degrees outside today, and since I can't drive it (lack of insurance on it), I'm dying to tinker with it.

I wanted to remove and rebuild my front and rear brake calipers as well as paint them with black high temp engine enamel.

My questions are as follows:
1) After the calipers are off, If I put the same pads on the same calipers with the same rotors, do I need to have the rotors resurfaced and get new pads before driving it?
2) How much does it cost to buy a brake rebuild kit? I've looked at it quickly in the manual and I've done plenty of work to my cars before... first time with brakes. Doesn't seem difficult, but not sure how much all the parts would cost and I'm on a tight budget.

Help me out! On a tight budget but dying to do something with my Prelude to keep me occupied...

I guess any other ideas for cheap upgrades and tweaks are welcome since the car is just sitting collecting dust for the time being. I have time on my hands... was thinking about removing the AC and components and tucking some wires too.

Anyone have a more detailed guide for tucking besides the one in our FAQs section?
