Question. I'm getting hooked up with some Type-R headers (should be USDM), do I need a constrictor in order to fit my b16a2? Or is it a simple bolt-on?

collector size is different, you'll need either a new cat or an adapter sleeve.

Aha, I urm meant to write collector {hehe ya right!}. Thanks again Chunky, how much do they go for, adapter sleeves coz I have no $ for a new cat

no clue really. i've never looked into it. ask at your local exhaust shop, they can usually fabricate one for you.

I thought only the JDM ITR headers had the 2.5" collector. I thought that is why it couldn't pass smog. But in order for the USDM ITR to pass smog, wouldn't it require a smaller collector? I'm not sure, could someone please clear this up for me.

Thats what I always thought. Doesn't the Type R header hang down lower too? Just wondering.

i know that DC sport makes a JDM header for b-series motors but they are pricey so ask nearest dealer
