I am planning on getting a CRX, but i do not know how to tell if it is a Si or HF if it doesnt have a emblem how can i tell if it is a Si or not.

seats are difrent the si look thin

tranny si PL3000 = si

i think hf have 4 speed

Emblem: yea, back right triangle.

The SI has a sun/moon roof... this is a dead give away

HF has mpfi, the motor looks like the SI. if you pop the hood, and look at the motor, it will not have the dpfi. look on the vin# that will also tell you.

other big differences between the si and hf is tires and rims: si comes with 14" sawblade alloy rims
si also has rear windshield wipers, hf doesn't come with that
plus the hf is slow as a big crap in ur tunnels, PLOP!

Also isn't there a different number of valves on the hf an si. I think the hf is like 8 valves, whereas the si is 16.

I think that was a typo but yea 88's come with sunroofs

i believe that hf's have tach's as well. i have a friend with a 91 hf and he has a tach, with redline @ 55 or 5800..
