I need some ramps for my 93 Prelude, but the ones a friend of mine had were too low to the ground. What does everyone else use? I need to get my front end up. Thanks for any advice!

Personally I use a Sears floor jack. There are several models that will work. They put a really good one with jackstands on sale a lot. Make sure you have the stands.
Even Pep Boys has a nice pair in a box for $11. The jack shouldn't cost more than $49 for a good basic one. I paid $100 for the Sears tho.

my car is lowered some i'm using some bricks or my old brake rotors to get clearance for my floor jack. my car never cleared ramps though.

wood boards work well too, brake rotors, any thing that is strong enough to hold the weight, and fits under will work to get clearance for the jack, or to get on a ramp.

is your rear end really low as well? I find that using the tow hook on the back to lift the rear end up, and then jack up the sides, lower the back and then raise the front, you should be able to do it, I hate using little ramps etc because they are a bit dangerous...

I know its a bitch, but thats what you pay for a slammed lude..

I use a set of 4 wooden blocks when I want to raise my car up on all fours ( same idea will work for front or back)...... I place a 2X6X6 in front of each wheel and drive up until you get up on top of all of them........ I got two layers nailed together so its more like a step fashion
