obviously you havent been watching any races from this series that this forum is talking about...coz the bimmers get blown away...but who am i to talk? i only own an acura right? and you own an M3...hmmm...my bad...

If you watched Road Atlanta, you would see how the torquey M3 would just slide off the track in the chicanes as the driver would oversteer, and the Realtime tegs and RSX would just keep going. On a drag strip, an M3 would dominate, but in the racing circuit environment, its just as much if not more about handling than all out power.

M3's don't race in the the touring class, they race in the GT class. In the touring class those are the regular 3 series.
