Ok so today i went to change the tires today and turned the drums on the back. They were so horrad sounding like two pieces of metal rubbing really bad. So i have a new rear drum because the person i bought it off of put a hatchback drum on a coupe. They are smaller so i bought a new drum for a coupe does anyone know why they would make such a horrible sound. Thanks

did you take em apart yet? mabye you have wear indicators (which means you need to change the pads) or you're out of friction material (which means you need to change the pads).

just replace the pads and it should be back to normal.
