haha easy

just get the gsr rear disk swap for about less than 300 bucks... the aem kit is too expensive for the disk conversion when the gsr disk setup will do just about the same.. hehe
Go to NEXUS242's WEB site. He's got the whole installation.
Are you gonna notice a big difference with disc brakes in the rear? I haven't heard anything too positive about this conversion.
I've only heard people doing this conversion when they upgrade to a 5 lug also.
i say you go for some used disk brakes
from a 94+ integra, 99-00 civic si or 94-97 del sol vtec.
the AEM brakes are too expensive and they are just
not worth it.
you can get everything you need from ranging
from $200 to $350. i got my 00 civic si rear brakes for $200. they didnt come with emergency brake cables but i purchased those from the dealer for $70 so my total came to $270.
just getting the brakes alone you will not feel a major improvement in braking. the only think is that they dont overheat as easy as the drums. and the pads are much easier to change on a disk rather than drums. the disk brakes look better than drums.
you should also get a brake proportioning from a 4 wheel disk car (i'm not sure which fits for your year civic but you can ask about the 99-00 civic si, 97+typer or from an integra).
get some steel braided brake lines for the back also.
I am think change my 91 si HB rear drum, but it may look better, but IMP, i think they have the same performance or a bit better

exactly, you wont notice an improvement without changing the proportioning valve from an upgraded car to send those fluids out evenly to the brakes... and one more thing.. you mite also wanna switch out the master cylinder as well to 4040 specs..
Make sure you get the master brake cylinder and I forgot something else. but just having the brakes done gives only marginal braking power. Changing the brake cylinder and something else gives you a better feel and stopping power.
