i really wanna keep the H23 and rebuild it. a swap would be just way too much work and money. ive been burning oil at 1.25 quarts every 1000 miles. the engine always burned oil, but its started getting real bad after i switched to synthetic at 90k (im at 102k now)...i think this summer im gonna have a lot of work done (timing belt, water pump, valve adjustment, and have the engine rebuilt).TSWG said:

It would not cost much at all. most likely cost less than a whole swap. a friend of mine is rebuild his ls motor for 2k with all new parts.
