I have a 2000 Honda prelude. And now rebuilding the engine. And what to give it more power from the engine. I'm thinking about some cams. And valves / springs ans retainers.
Any other suggestions?

That's a pretty open statement

Cams & valves will add something. But remember that engines are "systems" and need to be treated as such. As in any system small/mnor changed will yield small/minor results. I think you need to be more specific in what you're asking. What kind of budget are you setting for this rebuild and how much of those funds will be allocated for "upgrades"?

Is there a certain result you're trying to get other than more power?
Are you wanting more low end torque or high end power/revs?
Is this something that will be a daily driver or something that can sit and be broken?

I have many suggestions, just need the right questions.

All motor or boost? I'm just gonna go off with being all motor.

For cams, I recommend Skunk2 Pro1 or Stage 2 cams if you're staying 10:1 CR. I would go with Mahle's 11.5:1 pistons and get Pro2 cams to get the best out of it. With that being said, get your V2V and P2V checked. Also get your cams degreed to get your true TDC.

There's a guy I know who made 230whp tuned with this similar setup.
