I am new to this site. I own a 2001 2-door Accord V6 Coupe and would like to upgrade the stock tires to 17s.

My question is two-fold: a. What is the recommended size (is it 215 50R 17 or 225 50R 17) b. What do you think of Mille Miglia (Action) wheels?

Thanks lazybum but I can only afford 17s and besides, I think the size is just right. When all is said and done, the car should look like a poor man's 3.2 CL Type S.

I am going to buy all-season tires (live in a condo, don't have the space to own 2 sets of tires).

Or if you want to look at it from a performance stand point get 215/50R17 for higher speed or 225/45R17 for better acceleration. But both will have a lower top speed over stock, 205/65R15.

You can get a Sumitomo HTR+ , Dunlop Sport A2, Firehawk GTA, or Yok Avid T4 in 215/50-17, all for 110 or less per tire. But bachviet is right about having more options if you go 225/45. Pinoy is right, too, about staying with a little narrower tire for max top end. It will also be a little less prone to trollying (tracking in truck ruts).

On the rims, the look is a personal choice (but I think the Actions look very nice on a coupe). I have a set of Mille Miglia Evos and I can tell you that their quality seems to be first rate. The finish holds up nicely and they have taken several seriously nasty pot-holes with no bends (knock on wood.) Only thing I don't know about is weight.
