I am in need of new brake pads, and I have the aftermarket stock size Brembo cross drilled slotted rotors. The mechanic said that they should be resurfaced when i get new pads.
I think the mechanic that originally put the rotors on put them on backwards. i have since learned it looks like the holes/slots are angled/traveling the wrong direction, which i did not know at the thime of installation. To my understanding the hole/slot on the outer most part of the rotor should come in contact with the pad first and the hole closest to the hub would conact last as the wheel turns.
1. Is it ok to resurface these types of rotors?
2. If they were backwards, will it be ok to swith them after being resurface? or would that comprimise the integrity of the rotor?
Thanks all
