No, I haven't either, but this web page of an S2000 wipeout and the fact that the rollbar totally saved the lives of the people in it makes me wonder how tough our sols are? Any thoughts to the ability of a stock sol (and it's passengers) to survive a roll like that?

ouch
whats up w/ the camera guy?????????????? cant show the roll?
im curious to see how many times it rolled, or if it just flipped?
front to back?
right to left?
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....I'm gonna be thinkin bout this all night now damnnn
I have heard sols when they flip are NOT very safe what so ever. Most apparently the front windshield collaspes and the back rollbar that is part of our car doesnt do very much.

Best advice would be NOT to flip your sol.
wierd i was about to post the exact same thread... look at the wrecked sol pics on team del sol.com
you can reinforce them but you have to know what your doing
i slide and hit a bank at 80 and then flipped it, if you want pics i can email them

i only had a little cut from it very safe, that is why i got another one
Oh my

I'd like to think that this will never happen.. I hope that it'll never happen to any of us..
But sometimes, Shite happens.

Check this out!

This is my Friend Steve's sol. He walked away from the crash. Actually, he was thrown out of the sol before it rolled.

Look at the rollbar, looks like it did hold up:

damn!!!! he was thrown out?!!! he ejected!!?
He didn't have his seatbelt on and when the sol first started to roll, end over end I might add, he was thrown out and landed in a bush.

He should've bought a lotto ticket that day too. ;)
i didn't see anything on the videos...i sorry to hear about everybody accident but i glad that you all are ok...

Lucky guy. See how twisted the floorpan is? Interesting. This would make a good thread - worst crash pics.

Anyway, not wearing a seatbelt helped your guy in this situation, but it's worth restating that in virtually all cases, you're MUCH MUCH better off with a belt on. The "thrown clear" thing generally doesn't bear up. Especially in an urban situation, where there are curbs, lampposts, signs etc for your soft, breakable body to hit.

So buckle up guys....

Glad your boys was OK though Zeus..
