What mods would be needed to run 10 lbs on a D16y7 motor? Is it possible?

Yeah I'm looking to only run about 8psi on my y7 but I would also like to know what it would take to run more.
I would say water injection, the m45 blower will be running real hot at that point, I would also venture to say stock injectors will be maxed out, best bet some sort of SEM and injectors with water injection... I would also build the bottom end and port out your head, and also look into a cam!!!
stuff

I guess I jumped a little ahead of myself with 10 psi's but Im so ready for boost of some kind. I have been going over my options as far as turbos, SC's and swaps go but Im almost confident that a JRSC is going to be the way I go. I had a 92 Civic HB Si and put a Greddy turbo kit in and had problem after problem. I like the sounds of putting in a h22a or b18, b16 but my motor has 29,000 on it and has a good feel to it when driving around. With the right upgrades and the SC I think Ill be happy. Ill go to 8 psi in the future and see what will be next from there.
I'd say go with 8 PSI. 10 PSI on the M45 blower will equal about the power of 8 PSI anyhow just because of the blower outlet temps. Even water injection I don't think would help that much, and it's an expensive proposition IMO. The only way I'd run 10 PSI on an M45 was if I lived in north canada and the hottest it got was 45 degrees ambient.

NO cam. You will lose boost.
Not true as long as the cam is specifically designed for boost via Crower or another manufacturer. Throwing in just any cam however would cause you to lose boost. Clarification was needed there.
I talked to Jackson Racing and asked about a cam made for supercharger applications and they said it would be a waste of money.
Thats because they don't sell it, don't ask jackson for their advice on other parts, they shit on everything except theirs...think about it, you are mecanically allowing the cylinders to recognize a larger air/fuel mixture there would have to be a gain...

So long as there is none or very little overlap, otherwise that large air/fuel mixture will be going in the intake and out the exhaust.
