i'm sure that everyone, including myself, will recommend u not to drill any holes thru the fire wall. there are pre-exsting slots if u look for them. 1 area which i usually run the power cable is where the clutch for a manual car would be. um.another area i kno is located on the passenger seat of the firewall. i think there's an existing hole where other wires on going thru. u could attempt to slip it thru there. but yea...normally u don't drill thru the firewall, but if u do, make sure u fill it in with silicone.

just leave that little wire alone if you have noise you can ground it at your h/u don't use it as remote wire. to hook up the amp you will need the power from the battery, ground within 3 ft of amp and rca and remote wire from the h/u.

There are two screws that hold the center console in between the seats...remove the screws. There is next a little tab underneith the e-brake. Pop that up, remove the 2 bolt/screws. Unscrew the shift knob. Place it aside. There are two more screws on the sides of the console where the cup holder/radio/cig. is, remove those two screws. Remove the cig. tray, there are 2 screws in there, remove those. Light up center piece console, remove piece by shifter & lift over the shifter, remove cig. lighter piece, complete access to radio. watch for sharp metal, wear biking gloves or some kind of knuckle gloves (i have a nice knuckle scar :(.

if you happen to blow a fuse down there, there is a radio fuse under the dash, and also under the hood.

have fun!

There should be a opening under your steering wheel column located on the firewall. There will be a rubber piece for the electrical wires your car possess. Just use a screw driver to help push the wire thru. Remember, run your power wire on the left side, and your rca's on the right.

I found it easier to do it on the passenger side... I ran my RCA's and terminal wire right down the stick shift, center console, and up through the carpeting/backseats.... with the power cable on the right hand side, i just ran it straight under to the backseats as well. All this and deciding to lower my coilovers tonight was good fun in 20 degree weather :( Doh.
