SC on a B18/B20

Ok...I have been thinking about doing this for some time and want to know what youguys are running in the 1/4 with a B18B or B20 with a SC. I also would like to know which type and how much boost you are running as well.

I have a B20 Civic with mild street cams, ported head, and a long list of mods. Running 15.4's in the 1/4 all day...just want a little more power and reliability. how much fast do you think...13's or 12's

Any one whant to post some 1/4 mile times and car for me...trying to see if the SC is the way I want to go????
Its been a week...anyone want to post some times for me...I'm still thinking on what to get?
12's might be streching it a little, but it might be possible. The blower on the LS and the CRV is the same size M45 unlike the other blowers on the DOHC VTEC motors which uses the M62.
But can the M62 blower be bolted to the M45/LS intake manifold?

I know that the GSR manifold can be reworked to fit the LS as well as the ITR. I have read about doing this.
The IM on the blower is different from the stock ones. The blower uses a IM of itselft so I don't know if it will work or not (not saying that it won't just that I don't know).

I have seen and heard that many LS and CRV's do 15's witht he blower on. I have yet to see what the JRSC LS can do in the 1/4 mile.

But since you do have an engine swap and you are already doing 15's. I honestly don't know how much better you will do in the 1/4 mile.

Personally, I have a GSR Sedan and I only run mid 14's. About 1 second faster than stock only.

My thoughts on it...

Mid 14's sounds wrong to me. I think you can do better.
whoo. hold up am i hearing this right?
nitroedhx you have a civic with a b20 drop or
crv. ?
the first time I was at the tracks to test my B18a in crx I ran a
14.9 with slipping clutch. full interior, and book's (right after school) think my reaction time was .60 something.
this was with an open intake and 2.25 exhaust. all stock engine.

 Yep, B20 Civic Coupe running a 15.4 with stock exhaust and stock headers. A little help from a FPR, intake (shorty style), no A/C. That's it. My friend is running a 14.8 with the same stuff. I've added some parts and I'm thinking I can run down a 14.7 all motor with slicks.
(JDM 4-1, MSD set-up, plugs and wires, 2.5" exhaust different cat, no interior....)
(I'm looking for a Civic HB 92-94 nothing newer for a weekend fun timer...or a CRX and I have one that I'm rebuilding to sell with a ZC motor)

But for now I'm looking into a blower...powerdyne sounds pretty good also with an intercooler. :vpleased:
depends on conditions

but i think those mid cams are gonna hurt if you sc,they say stock cams are the best and thats all i heard.but a second or better is to be expected
why are you running 15.4?

I have a delsol with a LS, and i'm running 14.8 all motor, all day. I have a b20/vtec being built right now, but i dont know why u are running 15.4.

what do you have done to the motor?
i got a aem cai, dc header, exedy clutch, spoon fly wheel, energy suspension motor mount bushings. Thats basically it. 14.8 is my all motor time, i got a direct port 80 shot system on it, but i never timed it yet...

Well that would be the reason you are faster as of now. Have you uped the timing at all? I'm still trying to find a fuel gremlin. I'm getting a code 45 too rich or too lean. I have no idea what it could be. I'm replacing the pump next to see if it is a psi problem. FRP is set at 44 psi now. I had this problem before and got rid of it when I put on the MSD stuff...no code for about 3 months...I thought I was good. It must be a hair lean or the pump must be going. I have no IDEA:(
