Thanks igo4bmx.. I seen that one already and it for DOHC..but is the gap tolerance of the valve adjustment the same with SOHC?

Hey CVT_Civic

I also have a CVT Civic (actually it belongs to my wife) but it's SOHC non-VTEC. I was wondering, how robust is that CVT transmission? Have they been giving any trouble in Asia? We also get JDM cars here in Trinidad and people have been putting down the capability of the CVT.

I have been thinking of turboing the car and was wondering if you have heard of anyone who has done this with CVT? If so can you send me any sites with their projects?

So far there's no problem with CVT at our country, Honda mechanic told me only 1 people have problem with his CVT , this is because the guy using different transmission fluid which are not compatible with CVT. Always use original transmission fluid for CVT such as Honda ATF-1, and always changes the CVT transmission fluid every 20,000KM for good performance.

You can add some horsepower by changging good Intake, Header and exhaust. And CVT are belting transmission, it can takes up to 130 HP. Don't turbo or supercharge CVT , or if you do , you will get more slipping or CVT belt will breaks
