what type of setup would be good for maximum output withought juice... but to still have the juice as a "just in case" just curious cause i'm gonna be getting my lude soon and havent decided to go turbo or not, heared some horror stories...

For a cheaper setup do all of the bolt ons and drop in some crower cams, valves, stainless steel valve springs, port and polish the head, port match the intake manifold, and drop in a 75 shot using a direct port kit. For an expensive set up, do all of the above and build the bottom end with forged rods, resleeved block, and forged high compression pistons. Increase the shot to a 150 shot.

Would a small shot like a 50 shot be safe on a pretty much stock engine?

i agree with what he said except dont buy new rods. if anything get them frozed. its cheap and works very well.
