short shifter problems

if ur shifter is clanking when u move it left and right that means its hitting the head shield of ur stock exaust............ either go under there and take the head shield out, bend the heat shield with a hammer, or if u are getting a cat back exauhst anytime soon or already have it..... just wait untill u put that on.... cause the after market exausts dont have/need heat shields so there is no clanking at all with ur shifter...
