put the short shifter in yourself. it takes 25 minutes and is very simple

as for a turbo get a 14b or a gt28 with properly flanged manifold that lets you retain ac/ps
then you still need injectors, fuel pump, full exhaust fmic and some type of ems to run the system.

i would do a compression and leakdown test before attempting a turbo kit though

thanks very much for the input. I was talking to a local shop that does a ton of mods for Hondas...they were suggesting a H22 swap as an alternative to the turbo kit? My goal was 250 to the wheels, which they said wasn't possible without going internal? What do you think?

Cheers,
on an f-series motor? dude is making 270whp on his motor on this forum. with a good tune you'll be fine at 250whp. make sure the motor passes a comp and leakdown test first. you'd be faster for cheaper with boosted built f-series than you would with an h22a swap. h22a swaps aren't fast and make 170whp just with the swap and almost no tq in comparison to a boosted f-series. with a t3/t4 50 trim you'd be sitting at 210whp and about 220wtq on low boost.

h22 for the LOSS!! you'd be pissin your money away. Piece together your own turbo kit, you can do it for roughly 600 bills if your patient
more realistically 1800 for a reliable kit. get a 100 dollar log manifold and a 500-700 dollar turbo, used intercooler, walbro 255 fuel pump, 550cc, injectors, 2.5-2.75 inch exhaust, chipped ecu, and a new clutch. then down the road get lsd, and nice wide sticky tires. you can get a gt28r brand new for 710. it's a ball bearing turbo. or a t3/t4 50 trim for less if you look around
