short shifter

right now i got a LS tranny in my GSR, it grines at the high rpms, like 7k up when i shift up into another gear, i also have a DC short shifter for the GSR, the GSR and LS short shifters should be the same right?

They are the same part yes. I had that problem with my LS tranny a while back. It turned out to be the synchros. I had to buy a new tranny.
