short shifter

hey guys, i got a 1997 prelude type sh, was wondering what the difference was between the short shifter kit and the adaptor, which one to get (and brand wise), and how to install. thanks

there are no short shifters for 5th gen ludes,just short shifter adapters

I have the short shift adapter and it only shortn the shift maybe a half of inch on the top and bottom. Heres a link on how you can cut the shifter and re-thread the shifter.
