I have a b16a 89 crx with a integra ls tranny. The car has an aem cai, kamikaze headers, and 2.5 in. piping to the rear suspension than it shrinks to 2.25 in beacause of the resonator. I dont really have any problems pullng through my gears except when I hit 5th. My RPM WILL JUST BE STUCK AT 6000 TO 6500 ON FLAT GROUND. Does anyone with my setup have a problem like me. I thought the b16a shouldn't have any problem pulling that gear but mine wont.

eh? That A1 tranny has mad long gears........ how fast are you going? OR do you realize the your ECU has a speed limiter in it :p

112mph buddy, cant go any faster.....

i took the speed governor off my ecu and the tranny isnt an a1 but thaks for replying.

it's an LS tranny? On a B16, right? And it's NOT an A1? What is it then?


What speed are you going when you top out?

yup.......... which is actually what I a, trying to get ahol dof....... YS1 with LSd........ grrr

So what speed do you top out at? Do you know what speed you top out at? In my type R 6,000 is right around 110MPH in fifth, I took note of that because Vtec switches over right around then.

Also, try and show a little more respect for Phatwhippin, he knows his shit, he's been here forever, and the only reason that he came up with an answer that you didn't like is because you didn't provide enough information.

Now what speed do you hit "the wall"?

yo guys i got a question for you's...my friend has an ls vtec with a 91 ls tranny. some guy told him that the jdm s1 tranny was better for acclelaration than his 91 ls tranny..is this ture or did he get screwed??

also wat the code for a 91 ls--ys1??
