[VR WHAT]

I had them on a hatch that I had a while ago and was wondering if people think they're ricey. I know people are going to say "to each his own", and "its your ride, do what you want" or "you shouldn't care what other people think". But I want opinions. I personally like them. I just hate drilling the holes in that quarter panel. I would get them in white, and have them on with my parking lights. So whats the word. Thanx,

Yeah, I think side marker is a JDM thing and I don't think it is ricey. Anyway, NICE CAR Civ2000

Drill a hold in the car....tap into the front turn signals...and push the sidemarker into the hole.

i love the way sidemarkers look on our civs, especially the 6th generation. it really adds class to the car imo.

Side markers are really cool. I really want to install them on my car too. I don't think that anyone would mind having them, so it can't hurt you on the resale... use a little paint on the hole you drill so it wont rust.

Borrow or buy a Dremel tool, cut's through your car like butter. I would use silicone behind the sidemarker to prevent rust.

I don't really like them. Not that they're ugly, but it's sort of like a "blemish" on your car. This is why people remove things like badges, shave off door handles and keyholes, and just try to keep the car clean looking. While they're definitely not the worst thing you could do to your car, why bother if it'll cost you more money and headaches. But, to each his own. You shouldn't care what other people think!
