heard that the high compression raise the compression around .3
what are the pros and cons of using these as opposed to the standard, when used in a p/p gsr head in ls/vtec, if any.
just want to clear up any uncirtainties.
want to walk into this conversion confident that all my parts will work together.

very negligible gains...IMO,the .03 c/r gained is only wanted by racers who seek the upper-hand, where every last bit of power gained can be the deciding moment of 1st or 2nd place.

Stick with standard, its an expensive way to gain c/r points. The pistons you choose is the factor that you should be contemplating on the most. And if you choose to go with the valves good luck...you are the deciding factor, Im only saying my view on this.
