ive got a 90 CRX Si and im gonna swap a B18a (from 90-91 integra LS) into it

im wondering if a PG7 (89 teg) ECU will be better than a PR4(90 teg) and if it'll plug right into my factory harness.
or should i just wait and later on chip my stock PM6?
some help please i really need some help quick on this.

and also what the rev limiters are for those ecus?
are they 7800 for PG7 and 7200 for PR4?

ECU:
All JDM Ecus have 180 km/h or 112 mp/h limit.
88-91 JDM Civics
SiR used 37820-PR3-XXXX ecu used VTEC so no USDM equavilent only useful for B16A swaps.

Si used 37820-PM7-XXXX ecu, will work same as USDM Si (PM6) and USDM/JDM 88-89 Integra (PG7) with differences in red lines and performance. Only for USDM Si, HF and EX.
90-91 JDM Integra

XSi/RSi used 37820-PWO-XXXX ecu will work same as PR3 ecu off SiR Civic.

As long as the harness will adapt itll work...non-vtec ecu to a non-vtec engine...correct OBD to correct OBD ecu...got it?

notice the difference on the ECU's pins...

OBD2b on the very top, then OBD2a, then OBD1...the other ECU's are non-OBD

i think i understand now...thanks so much Jayman. Sorry to hear about your motor breathing its last breaths. 13 sec 4 door is pretty damn quick.

so just to make sure i understand. an 89 teg ecu will work with my stock harness since both are non VTEC plus OBD0

so u think the PG7 will perform better than the PR4? better fuel mixture? and its got a higher redline right?
