I just bought a 93 accord with the crapiest speakers you could imagine. im looking forward to buying new speakers, amp, and a subwoofer. Im thinking about two 12 inch subwoofers. What brand would be better quality and probably last a lot longer? Ill take any suggestions that anyone has. thanks

Not having a budget is not a good idea.
You can spend $200 on a complet system or $2,000 on just parts of your system.
It is hard to recommond you something if you dont have a budget in mind or what your cap is. It seems like you want to buy everything except the HU. If you plan to do all that without the HU, you will have a incomplete system, unless if you have one already.
In the audio electronic world, just as long as you stick to the major brand you shouldnt have problems with it unless if you abuse the system. There are a lot of brands out there that will give you the quality you want but some will give you more bang for the $$$.
Do some research on which brand is good and go test it out. Everyone will tell you something different. Trust me on this. I am not going to tell you what brand is better then another because we can fight all day about what is good.
But here are some brands that anyone who follows up with this stuff will agree that they are bad.

let me throw my .02 on this. your system will perform as good as it's weakest link. ( wires, capacitors, tunning, etc.) and don't half ass the install. you can have top notch equipment......and if it's not installed properly......it's gonna sound like shit. lil' food for thought. :rolleyes best of luck!

if your not familuar (? spelling) tunning amplifiers and hooking these products up (head unit, amps, component speakers etc.) then yes, it's better to have a professional install it. better if they're MECP certified. (Mobile Electronics Certification Program) and no, i wouldn't have them just run wires......i'd do it all at once. (easier on the installer) and yes, if you amp your interior speakers it will make a day and night diffrence in the sound quality of your mids-highs. cause even though a radio might say 50x4 or 60x4.......it's realy 18x4 rms. wich realy aint shit. :rolleyes by amping you interior speakers your more than doubling the power to the speakers........and amp power to me is like horsepower........you can never have enough. :bomb but that way the radio is only the signal source, and not both power & signal. hope this helps you :byye
