What are the benefits of replacing the spark plug wires? Whats a good size to get, is bigger better? Any good brands? man i'm full of questions :)

Spark plug wires, like the timing belt, spark plug, distributor cap and rotor are wear items. While the timing belt may just snap and render you SOL, the ignition stuff tends to deteriorate gradually, like motor oil. It happens a little slower. Your butt dyno won't notice that your car's performance drops with the deterioration until a ways away when you notice your car doesn't pull as hard and the gasmilage sucks pee pee.

replace them if your car needs a tune up.

there are no wires that are significantly better than others unless you have upgraded your ignition, especially after 10k miles.

I agree with this cat, you will not see any hp increases just by switching out and buying expensive wires, OEM will do the same.. What it says on the box is usually not true...
