what do you mean get more speed? I know you can accelerate faster with those mods....

header is like a 10hp gain
intake is about 25hp gain
exhaust is about 15hp gain.

I think, but you will accel faster. Also, get a fixed ecu and change the rev limiter and speed limiter and you can definately go faster, if your engine doesn't blow :p

No 97civicoupe, your wrong. In the ad it says that my intake makes a 25 hp gain, exhaust 30, and header 40. And I can feel it. I just smoked a kia today:)

Can I have some of that $hit you are smokin' :smoke:

I remember reading in a Super Street when they tested headers. Most were like less than 1 hp gains and some were even loosing power. :rolleyes:

My sarcasm meter is off the scale. But yeah, intake, header, and exhaust will quicken up your car... any car. To get better advice be more specific as to which car you would like to buy. By the way, my AEM sticker added 150HP so HA!

mister magazine reader you . although i agree with you guys that a i/h/e on a civic wouldnt give you a gain of 50hps :) its not as bad as you make them out to be , the magazine hp number is the maximum output of the engine , they didnt show the gain through out the power band , ex: a header mite lose power at 6500rpm which is your maximum power output point ( consider you didnt tune the afr :)) but you gain power from 2000rpm through 5500rpm , which is more usable :) so the next time you read a magazine hp reading , put that in mind :)

oh, sorry, see I thought this:

if a drop in k&n air filter was like 20 hp, or thats wat I heard.

so I figured if that was freakin 20 hp, then headers gotta be at least 10... so if headers at least 10, then exhaust was atleast 15, but I guess I was wrong, so sorry!!!

Headers=6+ cyl.
Header=4 cyl.

Expect about a 10hp gain (if your lucky) with I/H/E
