My driver's seat squeeks alot. what kind of oil should i use and where?

mine does too...never did get it oiled

i just replaced my seat with an aftermarket one lol..

but yeah, i'd take it out and buy some grease...

does it sqeak only when you drive over bumps and what not?

its usually when i make sharp turns and when i brake

yeah, i'd take it out of the car, flip it upside down and lube up the seat bracket/slider...

it's quite possible that the brackets/slider combo is in need of some lube

should i use wd-40 or somtin like that?
i dont kno alot about lube

ok thanks man! i'll do it once it gets warmer outside. i dont feel like taking my seat out now

Either that or it could have really worn out springs in it....thats if they even have springs...I'm not sure. It can't be too hard to fix.

well i found some wd40 at work yesterday so i decided to try to fix the problem. i didnt feel like taking the seat out though. i just sprayed it on the track in fron of and behind the seat, then i slid the seat back and forth a couple times. it helped ALOT. i also lubed up my sunroof track and now that runs real smooth.
