i have the FMAX kit and i love it. i had 2 friends with DRAG kits and both of them blew their motors
you can run 10 lbs on stock internals. theres a guy running 13 lbs on here and making 253hp to the wheels on stock internals. but just remember each lb is putting more stress on your motor. each motor can handle different amounts of boost. my friend blew his motor running 8 lbs. some people run theirs at 12 lbs and its fine. it all depends on how well its tuned really. another friend was running 22 lbs on a stock B16A. he ran a 12.2 with stock internals. but he also had it tuned very good. and he blew his motor 3 times but he had money so he didnt care. he had a collection of blown internals in his room. pistons, rings, rods, valves, cracked block. it all depends on what you feel it safe. i'm running 5 lbs now. i'm gonna run 10 lbs soon but thats all i feel the motor can handle. its like playing with fire. you start with a small match and youre fine. so you get 10 matches. youre still fine. so you get a big stick and light it and it burns your whole house down. you should have stopped with 10 matches. you have to know where to stop. i cant tell you exactly how much your motor can handle. i would start at 6 or 7. if its fine. go to 9 or 10. if its still fine go to 11. just keep raising it until you wanna stop and hope you dont blow it. theres some boost controllers that you can have 2 settings. high and low boost. set it for 6 lbs for everyday driving and to race set it at 9-15 lbs
