probably all said and done you should be shelling out about 30 bills or so maybe cheeper if you dont rebuild anything. Good luck and tell us how it goes if it happens.
it depends what you want

do you want a kit? $2500-4000

or do you wanna use Eclipse shit? $1500-2000 and a lot less power

plus 93+ octane gas and synthetic oil changes every 1500 miles. for me, thats another $30 bill a month for oil plus the extra 20 cents a gallon on gas over the 87 octane you probably use (or should use). where i drive 60 miles a day goin to school and back so i fill up at least once a week. thats another $20 a week
2500-4000$ for a kit fr real?? and what you mean eclipse shit my buddy has a eclipse and one w/ a talon w/ the same supr 16g turbo ad they fly far from shit and their compression ration is about thesaem as my f22 so y would be shit if i did use that and custom ?????
well you would be buying at least a 5 year old turbo thats been used and most likely abused. a lot of people that have stock turbos dont know what the hell it is. they just know it makes their car faster. they dont maintain them. they dont do anything. a lot of them are blown. they just dont flow as much as a T3/T4 will. i'm not sure how the 16g compares to a T3/T4 in size but i'm pretty sure a 16g is about the size of the T25 or T28 which doesnt flow very much and will make power at the low end but not have a lot of top end power. i have a T3/T4 on my Accord and i beat stock/minor modified Eclipse/Talon turbos. i think they run 12lbs stock. my friend was running 16 lbs on his GST and i beat him. i've sat side by side with a VW 1.8T running 20 lbs up to 90 and we stopped. and i'm running 5 lbs on my 4dr Accord. and on an Accord you shouldnt run more than 10 lbs at the most. people have done it but theyre playing with fire. so if you put 10 lbs on a T28 turbo i would be suprised if you would make 200 hp. while with a T3/T4 and 10 lbs you will make around 230

well there 16g has good top end power its my buddies gst that has no top end to small of a turbo but it still runs prob 230hp is at 15psi and i/e and runnin 10psi r u talkin on stock internals ???? because i heard taht thef22 is a boost hog and you can boost till your heart is content w/ nternals i thought at least ?? but fr t3/t4 turbo kit for my car it would run 4 grand???? damn thats expensive cause my buddies 16g was like 26-2700 w/ new fuel rail and pum and all that garbage
you can get an FMAX kit for around $3300-3500. i've seen DRAG kits for around $2900
r either of those any good??? and u didnt aswer one of my ?'s about you technically could run 10psi on stock internalsjust not good idea??
i have the FMAX kit and i love it. i had 2 friends with DRAG kits and both of them blew their motors

you can run 10 lbs on stock internals. theres a guy running 13 lbs on here and making 253hp to the wheels on stock internals. but just remember each lb is putting more stress on your motor. each motor can handle different amounts of boost. my friend blew his motor running 8 lbs. some people run theirs at 12 lbs and its fine. it all depends on how well its tuned really. another friend was running 22 lbs on a stock B16A. he ran a 12.2 with stock internals. but he also had it tuned very good. and he blew his motor 3 times but he had money so he didnt care. he had a collection of blown internals in his room. pistons, rings, rods, valves, cracked block. it all depends on what you feel it safe. i'm running 5 lbs now. i'm gonna run 10 lbs soon but thats all i feel the motor can handle. its like playing with fire. you start with a small match and youre fine. so you get 10 matches. youre still fine. so you get a big stick and light it and it burns your whole house down. you should have stopped with 10 matches. you have to know where to stop. i cant tell you exactly how much your motor can handle. i would start at 6 or 7. if its fine. go to 9 or 10. if its still fine go to 11. just keep raising it until you wanna stop and hope you dont blow it. theres some boost controllers that you can have 2 settings. high and low boost. set it for 6 lbs for everyday driving and to race set it at 9-15 lbs

i have the FMAX kit, VAFC, EGT, boost, air/fuel gauges, 2.5" custom dual exhaust, MSD wires, and Denso Iridium plugs. i have an ACT clutch and Fidanza flywheel ordered so hopefully i can put them on next weekend if they get here. it was installed in April of this year. it has about 7000 miles on it. runs great. my motor gets a little hot with the 5w30 oil in it. i had 15w50 in it before and it ran perfect so this weekend its gettin changed again. hopefully i can get a Greddy Profec-B boost controller soon. i wanna run 10 lbs and i'm gonna go to the track. i'll have time slips after October 19th and 20th. i'm gonna run for the first time at Maple Grove. might go get some 1/8 mile times this weekend

i got the kit from a friend used for $2400. it had about 600 miles on it and he bought an S2000 and sold his Accord
98accordex- nice! im looking for an fmax right now, but its hard to locate one from the shops around toronto...i may have to order it online if all else fails...i was going the h22 route, but have since changed my mind...its nice to hear succesful stories about ppl building their f22's...good job

not like its a big deal but i have an F23. even better for you though cause the F22 has lower compression than the F23. i just raced a 4th gen Lude with an H22 swap, all the bolt ons, clutch, flywheel. i'm un-tuned, running 5 lbs of boost, and still on my stock clutch with 93,000 miles on it thats slipping like a bitch and he beat me but not by much at all. he had about a hood length lead on me from 0-50 and he stopped. and from 40-100 is where i have all my power at. no doubt i would have caught him. i'm rolling on 18's. he had his stock 15's. and i cant launch with my clutch. his car was just faster at the time. oh well
wow...nice...and only 5 lbs and on 18's! im already feeling cocky and i dont have it yet lol

its gonna be cheaper to order it directly from FMAX. www.f-max.com if you go through a store they have to make money too. just cut down on the middle man and get it yourself
Hey. I have an auto I4, unfortunately, so could I still run a turbo reliably? I mean, did you hear about people blowing their trannies when driving with the turbo on? Thanks. You got that kit for a very good price, man! Another web site is: www.turbo-kits.com I think. Or without the dash there.

i talk to a guy on another board that has an FMAX kit on an automatic and he says it runs fine. i think he has a tranny cooler to keep it a little cooler. take care of it and dont beat it everyday
