the dyno thread didn't contain these, so i thought i'd ask here and get more exposure.
i am contemplating whether to buy a b18c1 for my civic or a b16a? (whichever the 170 hp one is).
bottom line is very few #'s separate these two motors in terms of power. what i am more concerned with is WHERE in the powerband these motors make their power.
so far every single dyno i've found on the internet is people with all sorts of mods. doesn't anyone do a before and after anymore?
i would just like to see the 180 hp/128 torque b18c compared to the 170 hp/112 torque of the b16a? and see the powerbands of the two...
