When the AC kicks in on my 2007 TSX, I hear this Whining noise that lasts around 3 to 4 seconds and varies in pitch from start to finish. It sounds like something is slipping. At first I thought that it was the serpentine belt slipping so i changed it and the problem still persists. It's a difficult issue to point out to the dealer since it doesn't happen all the time but maybe 50% of the time the AC kicks in.

I've noticed it happening more and more now. I'm suspecting it could be maybe the compressor clutch is slipping? I've read up and it might be the expansion valve as well. I was wondering if anyone has this issue and was able to solve it.
