Hey see the rims in my sig(look in my gallery for more pics)

I want to strip the white off them and take them down to bare alum.,what products on the market will do this w/o hurting the alum. itself?

i saw a post not too long ago where someone used airplane stripper to remove their paint, but then painted them a different color, you may have posted on that thread actually, now that i think about it.

I'm looking to either paint,polish,powder coat,or bronze

chiming in a bit late, but there is sandpaper made specifically for stripping paint off metal. i think it's like 60 grit, or something close to that. i bought a pack at Wal Mart for around $3.

wow 60 grit. Thats a really rough sandpaper. If your gonna use sandpaper, then use something like 500. It will get the paint of and wont make it look all scratched up. Before you paint i recommend doing a wet sand to make the surface really smooth.
