which one would u guys get?....... its going to be powered by either a jbl bp600.1 or 1200.1 and will be sealed..... which would be the smallest enclosure size and which has the best sound quality? thx..... btw its going into a teg gen 3 hatch.

i would opt for the IDMAX simply because they can get REAL loud and still maintain its sound quality. the amp should be enough for one of those sub.

GS, I will second that motion. One MAX is enough. I know a guy running 4 of them in a Passat, with an Arc 1500 to each one, tell me that's not just nutty.

I haven't heard an ID MAX yet, but from what i've heard its a sweet sub. VTECnicalAccord, how loud does that car get with that set up? That's pretty nuts.

Well, I have never got to actually hear it. All I know of his set-up is the step-by step pictorial he sends me of this monstrocity. He is sponsored by Arc and ID, and his Passat is pretty much a demo for both companies. His car was featured in CA&E a month or so ago, before he went to the 4 12s. Regardless of not hearing it, I know what it sounds like. LOUD!!!!!

Hmm, I don't know if I saved them or not. He sent me a few sets of different stages of it, but I am not sure if I actually saved them, or just gawked at them, and deleted them, for sake of sanity. I did see a build up of the ID demo car on Elite, I think. It shoed the front stage install portion of it. It was either on Elite, or Term Pro. I will see if i can find the pics and if I do I will email them to you.

I would put the max in a seale dbox that's 1.3cuft after displacement.

It will reach xmax off either the 600 or 1200.

I had the IDMax in my Accord with about a 1000 watts...and they are sickly loud! IDQs don't come close to the IDMax.

Hey 1200mk, where are you in CA. IF you are in the bay, I know of a good place to get your hands on a max.
