use the ecu that came with the engine

it won't run right. just use the right ecu, even if it means you have to go buy one

It might run a little lean, as it's mapped for a 1.6 liter not a 1.8 liter. You'll throw a couple codes for not having the VTEC plugs hooked up.

You can get more for your P28 ecu than it will cost for you to buy an OBD1 P75. So you can get the correct ecu and and up with money back in your pocket too.
