not that anyone cares or visits this site anymore, but I took the car into a garage to troubleshoot the no start condition. He's gotta good reputation so hopefully he'll have it running in a week or so.
Cool, be sure to keep up the thread even though no one is ever around these gays >.<not that anyone cares or visits this site anymore, but I took the car into a garage to troubleshoot the no start condition. He's gotta good reputation so hopefully he'll have it running in a week or so.
all these years later and im here reading threads from another life time" I need HELP" badly. if I got a hold of you I know I can start my lude. ive got the same no spark issue but gets fuel & it has power in all the harness points. it turns over fine but no spark. my build is a 1993 bb1 vtec prelude usdm jhmbb1 model that came p13 h22A1 so my cars shell is obd1. I installed a h22a7 type r head on a h22a4 euro r block using my obd1 h22a1 distributor eliminating the crank sensors for obd2 as done for this swap. no spark but fuel has no problem. the grounds at the thermastate is tight & so is the belt side mount ground to valve & the trans ground is stable. anyone read anymore"Update: The car has finally started. It was a faulty crank position sensor, and I was 2-3 teeth off on timing.
The cps was working when i pulled it off of the old motor and it sat in a zipock bag on my workbench for a long time. approx 7+ years. During this time it was stuck together since both ends were magnets. I am thinking this caused the sensor to malfunction and read low. There are still some minor things to fix, like adding the correct vtec solenoid and installing the cai, putting the back seat in and giving it a good going over.
