as long as the p28 is chipped to run the correct tune.

Yeah, and if your Teg motor isn't VTEC you need to deactivate the VTEC with the tuning program...I hope you plan to tune it? If it's a GSR motor the P28 won't activate the secondary intake butterflies, so an aftermarket intake manifold might be in order...
