Ok A bud and I bought a 90 accord. An F23A1 came with the car but the old motor is still in it. We are pulling the old one and swapping the F32. What all are we going to need for the swap?
Thanks- Jeff
so you are putting in a 98-00 F23(not 32) into an old f22 1990 accord? Thats a pretty useless swap unless the f22 is dead. Power difference is 10hp. Swap an H22 into it if you really wanna have fun. But any f22/f23 h22/h23 will bolt up to each other no problem. Motor mounts will need to be swapped to the new motor, and depending if the 1990 had vtec or not, you may need the f23a1 ecu.
Otherwise, use the 1990 halfshaft and axles, they will work on the new motor. It should be pretty straight forward. the f22/f23 motors didn't change a whole lot over the years
