Yes it's expensive, but I would also answer Yes it's worth it. My teg is an auto and I plan on swappin. Auto's are boring as hell.

As far as your tranny quesiton. Yeah you can use a gs-r tranny, but if you got an LS then you should go ahead and use the LS tranny. Just my opinion. Maybe someone else can add some info. There was a post a few days ago that talked about the same swap. Search is your friend.
