ive got a 6h gen accord coupe and i am putting down a dynamat type material and want to put it underneath the back seats and on the floor board. i am able to take off the back part of the seat but i dont know what is holding down the seat part of the seat. can someone help me out?

i'm pretty sure that like almost every other honda the accord seat will pull up. either that or it will slide around a lip, but you still just give it a good tug. i may be wrong, just pull up the front of the cushion and look to see if it is bolted in.

To remove the rear seat in your car, you have to locate a 6 mm bolt that is located between the folds of the rear seat. The bolt is located dead center , once this bolt os removed grab the seat from the back and flip it forward. The seat should come out now. By the way, the bolt has a 10 mm head on it. :tu2:
