HD versions of ICO and SotC!?:eek2 Oh yes! Please give me a fullfisted serving of that!!:clappy
Con, you going to get this one too?:confused
Team Ico PS3 Collection Listed on WalMart.com
You can even preorder the rumored Ico and Shadow of the Colossus HD collection right now.
Can it be that whoever's in charge of posting listings on Wal-Mart's website leaked two big game reveals in as many days? Yesterday, a listing for "MAG 2" popped up, and now today there's not only a listing for the rumored Ico and Shadow of the Colossus collection for PlayStation 3, but Wal-Mart's even taking preorders for it.
You can check out the listing for yourself here, although there's not much to see -- just the title ("ICO / Shadow of the Colossus"), price ($39.82), and the button to preorder a copy. There's also an estimated release date of 4/1/2011, but let's hope that doesn't mean someone at Wal-Mart is just playing a really, really early practical joke on everyone.
To be sure, previous rumors have pegged this HD "Team Ico Collection" for the first quarter of 2011, and Sony itself is "very, very aware" of the demand to see such a collection released. At this point, an announcement at Tokyo Game Show is seeming more and more likely (TGS kicks off on September 16), but until any official announcement is made, keep this one firmly in the rumor category for now.
