So I got my auto meter a/f gauge. I have to hook up the ground, the accs. 12v. and the signal wire which is supposed to hook up to the signal wire from the o2 sensor. Ok, Which wire in the o2 sensor is the signal wire? Color?
white wire , its the white wire
good luck ,
dont splice your wires to the point where you have to replace yoru 02 sensor
that will cost you about 150 bucks,,
white wire
Ok, I got it. I hooked it up. But, the gauges just switches back and forth, even when I am full throtle. And then, there is like 6 leds lit up at the same time, so if it was in the center it would still cover part of rich and part of lean. Wtf. does anyones elses gague at this way.
thats the its supposed to work
but when you floor it,its supposed to hit into the rich
and when you are cruisin or idling its supposed to bounce back and forth
cause your fuel system is always correction the mixture
and you should read the manuel to understand its function
it all explains it right there
right now you should be running normal since you dont have any force induction or fuel upgrades
I DID READ the instructions. And I know the computer is always adjusting the mixture. But what I am wondering is if its always supposed to be so many leds turned on at the same time. Thanks
yeah man thats perfectly normal
when i hit vtec in my car
all the green side of rich lights up
and when its just driving normal
it bounces back and forth
with like 2-3 led's lit up
k, ima think ima just wire it to the white wire on the o2 sensor itself...
