i have no idea wtf i hit, but i immediatly knew my rim was gone. could i say i hit a misalignment in the road and "blame" tenzo-r for a faulty rim.

i don't mean blame the bend on them, but how the metal fuckin SEPERATED!

or can you guys think of somethin else i can do?? thanks

No, I don't think you can blame it on a faulty wheel design.

BTW: You don't know what you hit as in: you can't identify the object that you rolled over? Or that you don't know when it occured? :confused

Just curious. ;)

Get a new rim! :lol
Seriously, how the FUCK did you do that!? I hit one of those reflector "domes" doing 50mph, and it put a nasty dent in my Rota, but the tire/rim still held air.
Was the tire ripped at all?

i was about 3-4 car lengths behind a truck doin about 70mph, i suddenly see something in the road, and had absolutely NO time to react.
i guess that'll teach me to follow that closely behind a truck @ those speeds :bash :bash

so i didn't even have time to look @ it to see what it was

Yeah...road debris sucks. A truck kicked up some wood
on me when I was driving the Nissan, had a little time
to react, but nowhere to go. Busted my left foglight,
so I figured "no big thing": $159.XX plus tax :eek.
Thank God I wasn't driving the Sol; it'd've probably
nailed me in the head/windshield. You must've ran
over some major shit for the rim to crack like that.
Don't know how good tenzo R's are, so I can't say what
to do, just marval the carnage :lol2. Sorry man. IMO,
unless it's like a Firestone recall thing, you're SOL.
EDIT: How long have you had them? Most companies
will "bend over backwards"/ignore their legal rights if
you're a new customer with new product, if you bitch
and moan enough. Just a thought....

ouch! that sucks.

i'd say give them a call. if you're nice about it they might give you a break on the price of the replacement rim. hell, they might even want to study your rim and give you a sweet deal on the replacement. it's worth a call anyway.

good luck.

nope! :mad

their "free rim repair" deal only applies to if you scratched the FACE of the rim, not even the lip.

i knew that deal was too good to be true.
