it is the middle model del sol Si. its got a SOHC VTEC engine, 125 hp. there is a DOHC VTEC, 160 hp model also. and the bottom model is the del sol S, 106 hp. the Si is good, its what i got.

Alright, also, it is cheap so Im going to have about 2500 to 3000 to mod it. what should I do? Should I just wait it out for the 160hp Model? Or should I just get this and put some stuff on it? What should I do about that? Thanks

it looks like its in very good condition... i wouldn't wait on a 160hp VTEC sol because you'll pay much more and the mileage will be probably double what the one your looking at is... if i could start all over with my sol i'd put all my money into engine mods and leave the rest alone completely, but thats just me, how your car looks can go out of style quick and you'll constantly be buying/selling stuff to keep it looking cool, power never goes out of style

hey I would be careful about it. I don't think the paint would fade it that bad that it would be noticable. I would check all body panels for possible repair. That car has also been on e-bay a few times. I remember reading about the paint being faded. Looking
at the pictures I noticed that the front bumper screws look like they had marks of usage. I mean it looks like they had been removed or somethign of the sort. I don't think a body shop would remove the front bumper to paint it. Take a look at my engine bay:]

thern take a look at the one on auction. Notice how the ones on the black sol are kinda white cause the paitn ain't on them anymore. ON mine they are still black caus they haven't been removed.

I am very anal about shit though too, but be careful. I got freaked out when I saw this bondo loking shit in my trunk, Turns out just about every honda has this Sealant around trunk bay.

BUY MINE! its $4000 obo it needs a rebuilt botoom end or a used one to run fine, or just use your 300 and get a gsr and have a 14 sec del sol. And a nice lookingone.
