This probably isn't exactly what you're looking for, but the owner of the shop i work at has one on his 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 HD, with the 6.0 L. It's made by a company called AIRRAID. The concept makes sense, and you can tell it's working because it makes this whistling sound.........almost like a turbo charger.
His butt dyno felt a gain, yet it's a COMPLETELY different application.
i ordered the Helix Power Tower by Street and Performance Electronics and should have it installed by 10/15.. let you know how it is..

Yeah thats the one. I was wondering about it. Also it almost seems like that tornado air thing , but this one doesnt seem to restrict the airway....
www.nopionline.com has them for sale i was wondern on that too... it works like a vortec or something i dont know would like to see a dyno chart of it though
helix power tower

i got one on mine i was hoping it would be my little secret but
i guess the word is out! I LOVE THIS THING!!!! its got a tred in it and when you open up it sounds like aturbo spooling. it goes between your throtle body and intake manifold 1 inch of extra air
im thinking its kind of like boreing out your throtle body. it sounds great! it givs sooo much more tork i can go up steep hills and the steeper it gets the louder the hiss but MUCH less effort. if you got vtec you will really feel it hit much harder! i love it but can we keep it betwuun us? :D
how much does it cost? sounds like something i should look into:cool:

$81.03 + shipping
Helix Power Tower @ NOPI
we need to see some dyno charts, just wondering if it has any negative affects,a couple weeks ago someone dynoed that tornado fuel saver thing and only got a couple horses under 3000 rpm,and it didnt do anything after 3000 rpms
Installed my spacer today and i can noticeably feel a difference.
Can hear it whistling in higher rpm's and vtec goes by alot faster i've noticed. its done what i expected for less than $100.
I know I'm completely new here today, but doesn't it seem odd to you guys that the 2 guys that are raving so much about this thing that seems kinda sketchy to me only have 2 and 3 posts on superhonda...it seems to me they were waiting for someone to mention the product so they could jump on the oportunity to sell more, like they are sales people or have some kind of interest in the company
The throttle body space seems a lot like a carb spacer they have available for domestic v8's and what not(carbureted). We tried one with a holley street avenger and we saw gains on the dyno, we tried one with another carb of less cfm and we saw less power than the carb without the spacer.... sounds like the same concept :D

where can i get my hands on one of these, for the best price?
dan
ordered mine from summit racing for 97.90 shipped..cheapest i found....although i think nopi is a little cheaper

Having it for a day now i have noticed that first gear pulls hard as hell from vtec to redline, as well as every other gear does too but first is most noticeable.
i have a typhoon intake. can i still use this spacer deal?
on nopi it says its for a 2.2 SOHC vtec engine. wtf kind of lude has that? one with an accord EX motor?

will that spacer still work with an h22a?
hey, what's up derek it's Jason.....sorry for the waiste post everyone
you should be able to use your intake with little or no modification. the spacer extends the throttle body an inch out. i believe IMI (look up at the top of this list) has one with a AEM cold air intake.. you could ask him.....

StylinLude - they f'ked up what they meant to say. i have a 95 vtec and it fits fine. just make sure you get the model #91001 if you have a 92-96 vtec or the #91002 for a 97-01 lude

go here and look and email them if you have questions. they answer pretty fast.

hey whats whats goin on jason...

thanks for the part # m55d
also, why is there a difference between the 5th gen and 4th gen part #s. the h22s are basically the same thing, with very minor differences. is there a difference in the throttle body or is something to do with obdII cars having assloads of sensors?
i would ask the tech people at street and performance elctronics about that one..... i really dont know ....
