Keep it for now and do some bolt ons...The si will be out soon and I think the motor is an exact replacement. check out 7thgencivic.com
I don't think doing an engine swap with 7th gen Civic and the new Civic Si is going to be easy. One is 1.7l and the other is 2.0l, besides the 2.0l engine is backwards compared to the 1.7l. No luck there.my2k1vtec said:There are plenty of mods already out for the 7th gen civic. Why would you turn around and sell it after you just got it? Do you know how much money you are going to lose? Engine swap!!Kevin5464 said:I own a 2001 Civic EX, and I'm looking for a faster car. I don't want to pay too much extra, and I don't want it to be too old. Nothing under 98. Post whatcha think. Also, put in their MSRP and HP if you know it. Thanks!

You don't know what would be compatable if your not sure what kind of car you want next. You could purchase a sound system, or you could even get NOS, although I'm not sure if thats something you or your parents would be willing to have. If you want to get more info on NOS, check in on the NOS forum and they can recommend a kit for your car. If I come up with more ideas I'll post for ya.Kevin5464 said:Well, I'm gettin the vibe that most people here think I should sit on my car, which I agree with also. I think I'm going to buy some things for my car that can be transfered......eh....any advice? I'll probably keep it until I go to college, I'm a junior right now. I know what you're thinking, stuck up and spoiled? Hardly, I payed for most of it =) Ok, well, keep the suggestions coming, thanks again.
