Tranny Help

I have a 98 GS-R with Injen cold air intake DC headers and SPP exhuast. Shouldn't I be chirpin in 3rd. I did slam 18" wheels on there, I think that's why I'm not chirpin in 3rd. Either that or my clutch isn't grabbin hard. I don't know what's up with my tranny/clutch. When I slowly let off the clutch in first gear, I sometimes hear it "clunk" into gear. Any ideas?

You won't necessarily be chirping 3rd gear. It all depends on how you use your clutch. Having 18's will definetly hinder your ability to get the wheels to spin going into 3rd gear.

Your clutch should be fine with intake, header, and exhaust as your only mods.
Why do you want to chirp 3rd anyway. All that is doing is slowing you down.
