Transmission compatiblity

I have a 97 accord lx with a H22A4 swap. What I need to know is if I needed a back up tranny could I use a 96 prelude tranny with a 97 block??? You would figure that the only thing thats changed is the horse power rating and not any thing else right? Any help with this matter would be great.
