He was asking if your Skunk2 Intake Manifold (IM as he put it) came with instructions. It should have. What exactly are you confused about?

I need to know the extra parts to install everything correctly.

There are no new parts you need to buy except we recommend a new IM gasket and TB gasket. If you have any extra accesories running to the IM then just T off the vacuumn. The H22 manifold will be available late summer.

Tuan had this really cool step by step process along with parts needed to makje everything relaly clean, like a type R cable , type r cable hanger etc... Thats what I wanted.

My Sk2 IM came with:

A.) The manifold
B.) A sheet that said to clean the IM before install
C.) A liscense plate frame

Yippee, time to break out the drill and Helms manual. It did require modification (this is for an LS engine). The only two helping bits I got were from Tuan, and an article that was over at Overboost. Do a search for the article.

when my friend got his, it didnt come with instructions, I used tuans lil guide, and broke a knock sensor in the process

Has the S2 policy changed? I emailed them and they said that what I received is correct.

I GOT THE S2 INTAKE MANIFOLD ALSO, I GOT THE MANIFOLD,LISCENSE PLATE, AND A PIECE OF PAPER THANKING ME FOR BUYING IT, BUT NO INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS... SEEMS LIKE WE'RE ALL IN THE SAME BOAT HERE.

When did you guys get your IM's? All our newest ones have step by step installation instructions. Should have also came with a Skunk2 sticker .

Which one is the knock sensor?

The knock sensor is a piece that in effect listens to your engine. If your engine is knocking or pinging it will pick up the problem, report it to the ECU and the timing will be retarded accordingly.
